Our Weekly Gameshow Newsletter is delivered to your inbox every Monday by 6pm.
Moments after you signed up to receive the Weekly Newsletter, you were sent a WELCOME email. Take note where your email server sent that welcome letter because that is the same folder you will likely receive the Newsletters each Monday. (gmail usually puts them in a folder called "Promotions")
If you know how to set up folders and to create filters to automatically move emails to particular folders, or if you have a trustworthy 10-year-old nearby, we recommend you save yourself future frustration and do that.
Our Newsletter provider is Constant Contact. Through this reliable company we keep your information as safe as possible. You control your subscription, not us! If you ever want to pause or end receipt of the Newsletter, there are links at the very bottom that say "UNSUBSCRIBE" and "UPDATE PROFILE."
If you Unsubscribe, please, for the love of all that is good in the world, do NOT select these options:
- I did not sign up for these emails (Yes, you did!)
- Content not relevant (How can the content NOT be relevant?)
- Too many emails (We send one email every Monday, just as we told you.)
- SPAM (The most damaging and egregious claim. We do not SPAM anyone, ever.)

The Top of the Newsletter displays the logos of our most-popular gameshows.
Occasionally, the next section includes an editorial story. There are no bonus opportunities but if we feel the topic is important, it's worth the read.
You may be entertained, informed, surprised, or all three and more!

This occasional section is HOT NEWS about new gameshow types.
This company started with 1 man performing 1 trivia gameshow 1 night each week at 1 venue. Since then, we have employed as many as 40 Gameshow Hosts performing 7 types of Gameshows, 50+ times each week at more than 40 venues! The 2020 pandemic came close to ending our run but our diligence and deep connections in the community carried us through! We now boast 20 Hosts performing 40+/- weekly gameshows at 35+/- venues. In 2024 alone we performed nearly 1,500 gameshows!
Did you know, we once held Texas Hold 'Em tournaments? We employed Tournament Directors, Table Dealers, and Floorpersons! But this flash in the pan eventually cooled off and we removed it from our offerings.
We have tested several gameshows that have never gotten past the discussion phase and some that have made it past rehearsals and actually been performed for audiences but still did not make the cut.
Rest assured, if we announce a new gameshow type in our Weekly Newsletter, it will be fun!

This section is very important!
For existing venues that make a day of week or game start-time change, we need to grab your attention!
For NEW VENUES or if an existing venue adds a second gameshow type, we have signed a new performance agreement, and the clock starts ticking!
We have 12 weeks to ensure the success of this gameshow at this venue, or it could go away!
Maybe you have friends or family who would love to join you at your favorite gameshow location, but the travel is too great a distance. Perhaps a new venue is going to premier one of our gameshows and it is closer to your friends! It could be in the middle between you, making meeting with them easier, or it could be closer to them, opening the opportunity for them to enjoy weekly fun.

For Let's Do Trivia! and Survey Sez..., staying on top of your gameshow is so easy if you have a game flow worksheet. You can print your own at home and bring it with you!
Why? If there is one thing the recent pandemic taught us all, it explained how simple it is to pass a virus on to other people. By reducing the number of direct interactions with our Hosts, we are significantly reducing the chances of becoming infected or infecting others.
Our Hosts may interact with hundreds of individuals each week. Since communicability of viruses is highest before a person feels most of its symptoms, people tend to continue their usual routines, not knowing the risk they pose. Even if your Host provides Team Sheets and pencils, the safest thing would be for you to print you own Team Sheets and bring a pen. Our game APP will help keep you healthy!

BLURBS may contain important information regarding your specific venue's game and are brief, punchy descriptions of the previous weeks' game action and results. There is a banner for each of our 40+/- gameshows in this section. Some email handlers including gmail truncate our Newsletter to save space on their servers. In such instances, you may not see all of the BLURBS section and will not see the next sections unless you click to view the entire message.
BONUS POINTS - Most Hosts will pepper into their BLURB a way for your team to earn bonus points (in Let's Do Trivia! & Survey Sez...) or to automatically get a BINGO WIN (in Play That Funky Bingo & Speed Bingo).
Always take time to read your BLURB before you leave for the game. If only one person on your team receives the Weekly Newsletter, you might miss those bonus points if they can't make it to a game. It's always best to have more than one person from your team signed up for the Newsletter!

The On-Time Bonus applies to our Let's Do Trivia!, Survey Sez..., & Music Lovers Trivia gameshows.
These events begin with a lighthearted way to help free your mind of the days worries or events and get down to the serious business of laughter! The sooner you read the Newsletter, the more time you will have to come up with a great punchline!
Every team that turns in an answer, no matter what it is, will earn 3 Bonus Points. Your Host may offer an additional point for the "best" answer or by random draw from answers turned in. Don't be late to the game, or those 3 points may come back to haunt you!

The Impossible Answers applies to our Let's Do Trivia! gameshows, only.
The IMPOSSIBLE TRIVIA question is always asked as Round 6, Question 1. These questions are designed to be truly impossible. Even if the answer listed is familiar to you, that doesn't mean the question is answerable in 99.9% of cases!
For example: In the ANSWER to Monday's IMPOSSIBLE TRIVIA in the example to the left is "Fred Hemmes, Sr." Even if you did a school report on this former tennis player from The Netherlands, or you are his great grandchild, the question was, "What man did the Association of Tennis Players rank 373rd in 1975?"

SUPPORT LOCAL! Let's Do Entertainment is a local Delmarva business. Over our 22-year history we have favored local restaurants and largely avoided national chains. (We currently serve no national chains). Recently, several national gameshow providers have been creeping into our coverage area. Some of you may have been surprised to hear we were a business with 20+ staff, so the idea that there are trivia companies with thousands of venues across 20 states may come as a shock, but they exist. By following our social media, "Liking" posts and photos, perhaps leaving comments, you help us grow on the eastern shore and our neighboring states.
Wouldn't it be cool if this little company that had its first trivia night in Dewey Beach, Delaware in 2004 grew to become a national treasure? Your mouse clicks can help us hold our position in the region and prevent losing market share, locally... and help us grow regionally.
